You can set the ethanol content manually without a sensor using the pedal, tacho and cruise SET button with ignition on/engine off.

Requires custom tuning because out the box all it does is show ethanol content on the power gauge (where available, with ethanol also showing as the cruise control set speed when in map switching mode as a backup) and alter stoichiometry for ethanol mix. We do not offer custom tuning as we spend our time making tools and features.
With custom tuning it can alter cold start, boost, ignition, show CEL and limp on missing or faulty ethanol content, add custom code for safety/control, map switch including momentary map 9, alter TCU slow path torque limit for locked TCUs, multiple cylinder fuel cuts to control torque whilst building boost.
It is a framework that will give tuners useful tools for years since they can send and receive their own CAN frames, write their own strategies, design their own map groups to map switch with flexibility and power that has not yet been seen on MG1 ECUs.
Anti-brick protection included for tuner custom code which is important on late ECUs that cannot be bench recovered.
Requires an ECU flasher that is able to write the ASW (Application SoftWare or program code). We recommend DBF1, bFlash. Tested with Vehical logging and live tuning.
